Chippa United FC have announced the departure of goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali via a mutual agreement. The 29-year-old goalie signed for the Chilli Boys from Katsina United of Nigeria in the 2022/23 campaign.

Tanzanian giants Simba SC, coached by South African mentor Steve Barker, have opened talks to sign Nwabali. The player was also linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, Queens Park Rangers (QPR), Raja Club Athletic and Al-Ettifaq from Saudi Arabia.
